The combined lamps contain two different tubes and two filters, their selection is made by means of a switch of the wavelength. Dark rooms
It has small dimensions and it is an economical endowment for laboratories that have as activity chromatography on thin layer, analyses in fluorescence, and analyses in UV light in biological, archeological, and mineralogical field. The slit of observation is endowed with absorption filter UV for the eyes protection in the dark room CN-6 can be set 1 or 2 lamps type VL-6.
Type CN-15 has included great power illumination. The 4 tubes of 15 W have either the same wavelength or 2 by 2 different.
The wavelengths can be selected with a separate switch. If there is necessary other wavelengths, these can be modified with a simple change of filters. The part of observation can be removed and replaced with a camera. Photographing and manipulating inside the camera are facilitated by the included source of white light, endowed with separate switch. By removing the inferior movable plate, the dark room is easy to be applied on a transilluminator.
Transilluminators, systems of irradiation.
Transilluminators in the domain of biochemical research, for the separation of AND/ARN fragments, the most used are agar or polyacrilamide gels.
For visualizing the acids are used etidium bromide or acrydine orange. These are fluorescent, this making possible their visualization, if the gel is set on a transilluminator. It is used the light with wavelength of 254, 312 and 365 nm. For the analysis of the complex etidium bromide/AND are suitable both 254 nm and 312 nm. The advantage of illuminating with 312 nm is a great sensibility, the negligible dimerization and disintegration of fragments, as well as a longer life duration of filter. The new generation of transilluminators of the firm VILBER LOURMAT is characterized by a greater light intensity and long life duration.
The air cooling prevents gels overheating. The folding screen adjustable facilitates the evaluation, protecting the apparatus of the negative UV radiations.
The models marked by X are endowed with intensity switch. The intensity 100% is suitable for the analyses, and the intensity of 70 A o is suitable for the preparatory purposes, minimalizing the possibility of ADN fragments’modification.

Irradiation systems BIO-LINK.
In the classical methods of linking the nucleic acids of transfer membranes (nylon, nitrocellulose ) the medium is heated at 80 degrees Celsius for two hours in the vacuum drying oven.
With the irradiation system BIO-LINK BLX UV, the time of linking can be reduced for some seconds. By using the intense radiation with wavelength of 254 nm and the signal of hybridization grows 5-10 times comparing to the classical method.
