Stands
As stands there are used glass plates, polyester (POLYGRAM) or aluminum ALUGRAM). The average thickness of glass plates is of 1, 3 mm. These have the advantage of a good chemical and thermal resistance; as disadvantages can be considered the greater price of plates manufacturing, greater necessities for space, greater weight and more difficult cutting.
The polyester plates thick of 0.2mm are easy to be cut even by scissors, resists well at the majority of solvents, but the maxim temperature of conditioning cannot exceed 160 Celsius.
POLYGRAM plates, because of the special layer of binder, are recommended especially in the applications where it is used for developing solutions with high volume of water. Aluminum plates thick of 0.1 mm are easy to be cut and have a good chemical and thermal resistance. We don’t recommend the use of ALUGRAM in acid medium or with high content of ammoniumDemand offer
